Paul Sizer

Paul's love for football began at age 8, playing through to 22 when he represented Westella and Willerby. After stepping away from playing to focus on a career in Leeds post-university, football remained close to his heart. It wasn’t until age 33, watching his young daughter and son kick a ball around the garden, that his passion reignited. Inspired by his own father’s role as a coach during his childhood, Paul decided to follow suit.

Starting as a volunteer coach at Kingswood United Soccer School after discussions with Rico, Paul soon took on greater responsibility. When his daughter was old enough, he founded and coached Kingswood United Pearls, followed shortly by taking the helm of Kingswood United Falcons, his son’s team. Over the past 5 years, Paul has dedicated himself to grassroots football, fostering a love for the game in young players while creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

Paul is committed to growing as a coach. He looks forward to furthering his expertise with additional FA courses, including the UEFA C license, to continue making a positive impact in the community.
