These sessions provide a wonderfully safe, inclusive, and joyful space for PAN disability boys and girls to kickstart their football journey, develop skills, and be themselves!
What Makes Comets Special? Football for All Abilities.
Comets is a recreational, pan-disability football programme that embraces the largest format of disability football. This means it's a vibrant environment where players with various impairments and health conditions play together, fostering understanding, empathy, and unity. We focus on:
Playfulness & Fun: Every session is packed with engaging and interactive games, designed to ensure children are constantly laughing, learning, and loving their time on the pitch.
Safe Space to Belong: Comets provides a secure and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and free to use their imagination. They can play at their own pace, with ample space for breaks if needed.
Skill & Confidence Building: Beyond the fun, our sessions focus on building fundamental football skills, boosting confidence, nurturing independence, and developing crucial social relationships.
"JUST BE YOU": This football breaks old rules! Comets celebrates individuality, encouraging every child to express themselves, build friendships, and find unique joy in the game.
Expert Coaching & A Nurturing Environment:
All Kingswood Sports Comets sessions are delivered by FA-qualified coaches who have received specific programme training and guidance. They are dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and supportive place for children to try football, develop key skills, and receive tailored encouragement. We prioritise open communication with parents and carers to ensure every player's needs are understood and met, guaranteeing the best possible experience for all.

When: Sessions run weekly on Wednesdays.
Time: From 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: All sessions take place at the welcoming Kinlass Park Playing Fields.
Ages: Specifically designed for boys and girls aged between 5 and 11 years.
Supported By: The East Riding FA proudly supports our Comets sessions and helps us deliver this fantastic opportunity.
